Mark all absent, then scan in
Start the period with everyone absent, confirm, then scan IDs as students walk in. Undo the last scan if you need to.
Focus Scan is a Chrome extension that clicks Present, Tardy, or Absent on Broward Focus when you scan a student ID. Built by a high school teacher in South Florida — not a tech company guessing how your roster works.
Same bells. Same Focus page. Faster walk-in line at the door.
Start the period with everyone absent, confirm, then scan IDs as students walk in. Undo the last scan if you need to.
Type your school’s times — Normal, Early Release, PST, exam day, whatever you actually run. Scans before the bell are Present. After the bell, new scans become Tardy.
A compact scanner that sits on Focus. You still press Save on the district page. The extension never presses Save for you.
No new attendance system. Just a faster way to mark the roster you already use.
Open Focus attendance, click the extension, and use the scanner on this website.
Confirm the warning. Every student on the roster switches to Absent.
Leave Present selected. The scanner marks the matching student. You do not click radios first.
Look over the list, then save in Focus yourself. The tool never submits attendance for you.
This site sells licenses. It does not store your roster.
Names, IDs, and attendance stay in the browser. There is no student database on this website.
